Welcome. I am a board-certified adult psychiatrist and reproductive psychiatrist based in Pittsburgh, PA with expertise in treating individuals with depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, OCD, and PTSD. I primarily treat those who reside in the Pittsburgh area. I accept UPMC commercial and BCBS/Highmark insurances. I do not accept Medicaid or Medicare (including UPMC For You, UPMC For Life).
Services
Psychotherapy
I offer psychotherapy once or twice weekly, drawing primarily from a psychodynamic framework. This work can be combined with careful and judicious use of medication when indicated. As your therapist, I am uniquely positioned to assess whether medication may be helpful and to thoughtfully guide you through that decision.
Medication Management
When medication is appropriate, I will help you understand your options and work with you to select the optimal treatment plan. If you have a therapist, I will gladly collaborate and coordinate care. I also integrate elements of psychotherapy in every session.
Women’s Mental Health
I have a special interest and expertise in treating women’s mental health across the reproductive lifespan, including before, during, and after pregnancy.
